I Won't Leave You—Ever

Deuteronomy 31:6 - Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.

Deuteronomy 31:6 - Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Psalm 46:1-3 - God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah

Psalm 73:23-24 - Nevertheless, I am continually with you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory.

Mark 4:35-41 - On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, "Let us go across to the other side." And leaving the crowd, they took him with them in the boat, just as he was. And other boats were with him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling. But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, "Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?" And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. He said to them, "Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?" And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, "Who then is this, that even the wind and sea obey him?"

Dear God, With me no matter what. Just like You taught me yesterday about the no matter what kind of love and grace that You have for me, today You are telling me that You are with me no matter what. Oh how I long when people say they are friends that they would learn how to love no matter what. For when they can not only learn and understand the no matter what kind of love then they can also practice loving one another no matter what. Maybe I have been learning and growing in my ability to love no matter what? And maybe that is why, even now, I long to work toward restoration with Tom? Oh, I hope he reads this post. He needs to know that now more than ever. God, I am sorry that I do not always return the love no matter what. Teach me and shape me. Be with me always and make Your presence known to me. Love, no matter what. Thank You for being with me. No matter what. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
