Trust God in the Depths of Your Being

Matthew 28:19-20 - "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

John 20:19 - On the evening if that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you."

Colossians 1:27 - To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Dear God, I am frazzled today as we have had our air conditioner go down for the second time in less than four months. But I also know that You are battling wih me with an overwhelming peace within my inner most being. Thank You for that peace that surpasses my understanding. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Worship God in the Beauty of Holiness

Psalm 29:2 - Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness.

Isaiah 6:3 - And one called to another and said: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!"

Dear God, the dewdrop on the beautiful rose and the details of the rose as it unfolds into its fullness. The chirping of the little bird against the blue morning sky. The woot of the owl against the red of the setting sun. All of it declares Your beauty and glory. Your attention to details. Your magnificence. Your holiness. Thank You for those small reminders of You. Help me to never take them for granted. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Come to God Continually

Matthew 22:37 - And he said to him, "You shall the love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."

Hebrews 6:19-20 - We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters the inner place behind the curtain, where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.

I John 2:28 - And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming.

Dear God, help me to never forget that You are the center, the anchor, for my soul. You are steadfast. You are sure. Thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Let His Love Seep into the Inner Recesses of Your Being

Psalm 139:1-4 - O. Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.

Psalm 139:23-24 - Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!

I John 4:18 - There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out all fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

Dear God, I love how Your love for me is so perfect. Perfect love casts put fear. There is no fear in love. Search my heart and lead me in Your way. Thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Hope Is a Golden Cord Connecting You to Heaven

Romans 12:12 - Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

I Thessalonians 5:8 - But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having out on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation.

Hebrews 6:17-20 - So when God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of his purpose, he guaranteed it with an oath, so that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us. We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place needing the curtain, where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.

Dear God, help me to remain steady in my hope. My hope of a glorious future in heaven with You. As I hope, I feel less pressured and less weighted. I feel lighter and steadier. Thank You for hope. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Relax and Let God Lead You Through This Day

Psalm 32:8 - I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

Psalm 119:35 - Lead me in the oath of your commandments, for I delight in it.

Psalm 143:8 - Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

Dear God, help me to not get hung up on the planning of this day or any day. Yes, I have appointments and things that have to be done, but help me to not beat myself up over things I have no control of that threaten to derail me from what I need to do or that do derail me. Help me just to relax and trust You all the more when derailment happens. Thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Hear His Lovecall to You in the Birdsong

Jeremiah 29:13-14 -  You will seek me and find me. When you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.

John 10:27 - "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."

Romans 8:28 - And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Dear God, it is easy to hear You and see evidence of You when I see the beauty and hear the birdsong. It is not as easy in the wake of destruction and tragedy though. Help me to always find You even when it is not as easy. Thank You for being there. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Thankfulness Opens the Door to His Presence

Psalm 100:4 - Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!

I Thessalonians 5:18 - ...give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Dear God, thank You for giving me the opportunity to come to You just by being thankful. Thank You for teaching me how to thankful. Thank You for giving me the choice to be thankful and demonstrate my trust in You through thankfulness. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

He Is the Light of the World

Exodus 3:14 - God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And he said, "Say this to the people of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'"

Matthew 5:14-16 - "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."

John 8:12 - Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

II Corinthians 3:18 - And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

Dear God, help me always do better at reflecting Your light to the world. Thank You for shining through the darkness into my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Find Freedom Through Seeking to Please Him Above All Else

Matthew 6:1 - "Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for the. You will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven."

Matthew 23:5-7- "They do all their deeds to be seen by others. For they make their phylacteries (amulets) broad and their fringes long, and they love the place of honor at feasts and the best seats in the synagogues and greetings in the marketplaces and being called rabbi by others"

Ephesians 5:7-10 - Therefore do not associate with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord.

Dear God, never do I want to seen as inauthentic even if it means that others end up despising me. Help me to be more worried about pleasing You than about pleasing others or even myself. Thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Rest in His Presence When You Need Refreshment

Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

Isaiah 30:15-16 - For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, "In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength." But you were unwilling, and you said, "No! We will flee upon horses"; therefore you shall flee away; and, "We will ride upon swift steeds"; therefore your pursuers shall be swift.

Dear God, thank You for providing me with strength when I spend time with You. I want to spend more time with You regardless of what others may think. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Seek His Face

Psalm 34:5 - Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.

Psalm 42:1-2 - As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?

Philippians 2:14-16 - Do all things without grumbling or questioning, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.

Dear God, may I always be a light for others pointing them toward You in their times of need just as others have come along and showed me You when I had times of need. Thank You for the path You have chosen for me. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Bring All Your Feelings to God

Isaiah 12:2 - "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation."

Ephesians 6:16-20 - In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the sword of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that it may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.

I John 1:5-7 - For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.

Dear God, today I bring You my fears, my anxieties, my worries, and even my angers, and happinesses, and joys. I bring You my sadnesses and my excitements. I bring all my feelings to You to check them at the door and make sure I am not troubled by those which would try to bring me down and am uplifted by those that are encouragements from You. Thank You for being a feelings checker. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

He Is Nearer than You Think

Acts 17:26-28 - And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, for "'In him we live and move and have our being'; as even some of your own poets have said, "'For we are indeed his offspring.'"

Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Dear God, thank You for being closer than I sometimes feel You are. Thank You for being there. Thank You for being. Show me Your presence. Make me more aware. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Come Away With Me for a While

Song of Songs/Solomon 2:13 - The fig tree ripens its figs, and the vines are in blossom; they give forth fragrance. Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away.

Luke 10:41-42 - But the Lord answered her, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many tg hints, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her."

Dear God, as time crunches away at my day today, please help me to not forget You. Help me to stay strong with what I need to do and keep reminding that You are with me. Thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Self-Pity

Psalm 40:2-3 - He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord.

Psalm 42:5-6 - Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.

Psalm 147:10-11 -  His delight is not in the strength of the horse, nor his pleasure in the legs of a man, but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love.

Dear God, please help me to not slip into the pit of self-pity. It is yucky down there with muck and mire. Comfort me in my hour of need and remind me that You love me no matter what. Thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Do Not Worry About Tomorrow

Psalm 62:8 - Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah

Matthew 6:34 - "Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."

II Corinthians 12:9 - But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Dear God, one day at a time. Don't worry about tomorrow. Oh, how easy it is to worry about the future. We are not designed for future living, but now living. Today living, not tomorrow living. In the today living, please ease the congested feeling in my ear and nose. Doctors haven't been able to find the source yet in order to provide me relief. Thank You for today. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Keep Walking with God Along the Path He Has Chosen for You

Psalm 16:11 - You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Psalm 37:23-24 - The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.

Dear God, my path is different from another person's path and still another person's path is different from my own path. While our paths may cross and even intermingle for a while, our paths will always be different. It frustrates me when people who don't know the oath I have been on to get to where I am try to force me onto a different path because when they hear I have autism, they somehow equate that to being less than or inferior to themselves. Or they somehow think that the path You have chosen for me is wrong because it doesn't fit their ideas about things. I am still so wounded by how that care team turned out with the two individuals in it basically destroying everything and worst of all, destroying my spirit. I am still wounded by Tom's end and him standing up for what he knew was right and against what he knew was wrong. I am still holding hope in You that You will eventually allow reconciliation between Tom and myself, but also know that even when You do, he and I will be so different by that point that things will have to be different. I mean it may be possible that he and I could refriend on Facebook, but will it be friends in real life again? Probably not really. I would rather spend my life with no real friends off Facebook whatsoever than to be hurt the way he hurt me again. But maybe that is the path I have been given, one destined to have friends and acquaintances but never to have any that are really close or personal. I mean real friends forgive and don't abandon their friends when in need. Real friends stick it out and love on their friends even when a conflict arises. Real friends stick up for what is right and stand up against what is wrong. My path is my path, and my path includes autism, immune deficiency, and whatever is going on in my gut. My path is not perfect, but my path is my path because You have chosen it for me. Anyone who tries to push me off my path is not worth my time or energy. Anyone who tries to come along side of me and offers me a supportive hand along the way is worth my time and energy and even my forgiveness. Tom is one of them. But maybe that will be a miracle if it happens this year. I love You God. And I hope I am doing my best to follow the path You have chosen for me. Help me to not stumble off it and to resist the slips and falls along the way. Thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

God Wants You to Experience the Riches of Your Salvation

Psalm 34:5 - This who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.

Ephesians 2:4-9 - But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ–by grace you have been saved–and raised us up with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of hai grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Hebrews 3:1-2 - Therefore, holy brothers, you who share in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession, who was faithful to him who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all God's house.

Dear God, thank You for perfect and unending love. You don't care if I look less than perfect or am not acting perfect all the time. You just love me because I am Yours. I am my hardest judge. When I go down the self-judgment path, remind me that Your love is there and that You are still there. Thank You for a love that never ends, never judges, and is always perfect. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Whisper His Name in Loving Trust

John 16:24 - "Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full."

Acts 4:12 - "And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

Dear God, thank You for loving me so much that You want to hear my voice. Help me to always bless You and not curse You. Jesus. God. Thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Worship God Only

Exodus 20:4-6 - "You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in heaven above, or that is in water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments."

II Samuel 22:29 - For you are my lamp, O Lord, and my God lightens my darkness.

Dear God, help me to not fall into the trap of having anything more valuable than You. Everything from books to music to movies to technology to my furbabies and even my family can easily slip into the idolatry spot. They all need to come second to You and stay second to You. Money, football, sports, food, entertainment, travel, time, all of these things can easily become idols for anyone. Even self can become an idol. I long for more of You and less of worldly things. Thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Relax in His Peaceful Presence

John 15:13-15 - "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lays down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you."

Revelation 17:14 - "They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he so Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful."

Dear God, forgive me when I am nervous or anxious during my time with You. Help me to relax more in Your presence. Real friendship. One that does not require anything but for me to be who I am. Supportive. Loving. Desiring the best for me. Loyal. True. I love that about You. You are a real friend. Teach me to be that kind of friend to someone in need of a good friend. A real friend will be able to say, "hey, we had a misunderstanding, but let's work through things and figure out what wrong and strive for it to not happen again." A real friend loves and forgives and doesn't abandon their friend in a time of need. A real friend never quits a friendship. Thank You for teaching me that. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Stop Worrying Long Enough to Hear His Voice

Genesis 1:27 - So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

Deuteronomy 30:19-20 - "I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them."

Romans 12:2 - Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Dear God, renew my mind, my heart, and my body so that I can effectively do Your will for me. Reprogram my mind as I sit quietly with You right now in this moment. Wipe away the negative thoughts and the thoughts that overcrowd my mind. Hit refresh and allow me to relish in You. Thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Put Aside All Other Thoughts When You Seek His Face

John 15:11 - "These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full."

I Corinthians 13:12 - For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.

Dear God, thank You for being above all and in all. Thank You for joy. Thank You for not showing me too much all at once for I am not ready for that yet. Thank You for glimpses of heaven on earth. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Trust God in All Your Thoughts

Psalm 20:7 - Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.

Luke 1:79 - "...to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace."

I John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Dear God, train me in my conscious thoughts and in controlling them, taking them captive to You and releasing them to You. Forgive me for the times when I fail to take those thoughts captive and release them. Thank You for forgiveness when I fall and protection. Thank You for peace. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

He Is Your Father-God

Exodus 3:5 - Then he said, "Do not come near; take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing I a holy ground."

Isaiah 9:6 - For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Womderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Zechariah 9:9 - Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! behold, your King is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

Romans 8:15-17 - For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!" The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs–heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

Dear God, help me to block out the world as I spend time with You. Train my focus on You during that precious time with You. Teach me not to worry about what the world thinks when it comes to spending time with You. Thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Draw Near to God with a Thankful Heart

Psalm 56:3-4 - When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?

Isaiah 43:19 - "...Behold, I am doing a new thing; now  it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."

Romans 8:38-39 - For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Dear God, nothing shall separate me from Your love. Right now I trust You for healing comfort for my ear which has somehow become blocked and is painful. Thank You for Your love. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Worship God in Spirit and Truth

Psalm 100:4 - Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!

John 4:23-24 - "But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."

Dear God, I have many reasons to thank You even when I feel like I am at my worst physically or emotionally or mentally. I have You to thank for providing for my family so far and for making it possible for me to have access to the same affordable healthcare as provided through real insurance as my non-disabled peers. I have You to thank ultimately for the fact that a long time ago a group of people decided we needed a new country where we could live and worship how we please. I have You to thank for the fact we have a president who cares about everyone and not just the rich who pad lawmakers pockets. I have You to thank for wisdom to know who not to vote for when it comes to the real heart of the issues. I have You to thank for bringing people in my life who have a vested insurance in me as a person and are not fakers like it turned out Tom might have been. Though I still pray for reconciliation with him, I have to trust You to bring that about in Your time. He is not ready for a real and a genuine and a caring friend like me. Most people are not ready. I have to thank You that even though I am sick right now that I have found a doctor who actually listens and doesn't pin everything on one insignificant thing. Thank You for everything. And thank You for hearing my voice among the angels. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

God Is the Only Capable Judge

Luke 6:37-38 - "Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you."

Romans 8:1-2 - There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.

II Timothy 4:8 - Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved loved his appearing.

Titus 3:4-7 - But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Dear God, thank You for covering me with the blood of Your Son. Thank You for pardoning me from the penalty of my sins. Help to not judge others just as I don't want them judging me. And help me to not judge myself so harshly for I am my biggest judge. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Let God Show You His Way

Deuteronomy 33:27 - "The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms."

Psalm 5:2-3 - Give attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you do I pray. O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch.

Dear God, help me to hear Your voice above all others. Take me in under Your everlasting arms as I learn to trust You more each day. Comfort me in the rough days ahead with regard to health and access to care. Comfort me in the rough days ahead not knowing whether we will be provided for. Push me to what You see best for me. Push me to strive for more even. Help me to never be afraid to reach out to make amends either. Thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

God Is Life and Light in Abundance

Deuteronomy 33:12 - Of Benjamin he said, "The beloved of the Lord dwells in safety. The High God surrounds him all day long, and dwells between his shoulders."

Psalm 37:4 - Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Psalm 48:9 - We have thought on your steadfast love, O God, in the midst of your temple.

Dear God, help me to always fight for time with You. It can be hard on some days more than others, especially when I have a full schedule ahead of me, but if always feel so refreshed after the time I do spend with You. I tend to be more productive after spending time with You. Thank You for wanting to spend time with me. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
