Let Thankfulness Rule Your Heart

Psalm 100:4 - Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!

Acts 9:18-19 - And immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he rose and was baptized, and taking food, he was strengthened.

Colossians 3:15 - And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which you were called in one body. And be thankful.

Revelation 19:3-6 - Once more they cried out, "Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up forever and ever." And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who was seated on the throne, saying, "Amen. Hallelujah!" And from the throne came a voice saying, "Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, small and great." Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a reta multitude, like the roar of many waters and like e sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, "Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns."

Dear God, thank You for the miracle of life made new each day. Thank You for the beauty of the sunrise and the beauty of the sunset. Thank You for each new day You have given me. Thank You for helping me to develop an attitude of thankfulness. Thank You for helping me to discover who I am and what my limits and abilities are. Thank You for creating me just the way You want me to be, autism, immune deficiency, and all. Thank You for a team of doctors who are pushing for approval for IVIG realizing that my IgG numbers are dropping. Thank You for the ACA that does allow me to have proper insurance, but help the leaders to know how to address the root of the problem which is the greedy insurance companies who have just raised rates 77% in my state. Help the leaders in my state to fix Medicaid so the disabled no longer need TWO insurances so they can have more of the limited resources they get each month for other needs they have. Over half of one's resources literally ends up going for private health insurance because Medicaid is too dysfunctional. Help the state and national leaders to push for more services for the disabled, and that does not mean cutting benefits either. Bring us a leader who will be for the people not the businesses that line his or her pockets. Help the refugees and the victims of the recent attacks. Protect us from more attacks. Protect us from kissing bugs. Protect us from bad things. Thank You for being there and for Your perfect love and joy and peace. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
