Jump in with Both Feet

Psalm 56:3-4 - When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?

Isaiah 43:19 - Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:19 (ICB) - Look at the new thing I am going to do. It is already happening. Don't you see it? I will make a road in the desert. I will make rivers in the dry land.

Romans 8:38-39 - For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, no re powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Dear God, how right You that I do wish I could have complete control over my life so that I know I can be safe and so that I can predict what is going to happen during my day. But sadly, I don't. Even if I had some control, other people would come along that would murk things up. Other people are not predictable. And just when you think you figure someone out, even they throw a curveball and a hammer in the gears. Teach me, God, how to rest solely on You and Your control of my life. Thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
