God Is the Potter and We Are the Clay

Psalm 27:8 - You have said, "Seek my face." My heart says to you, "Your face, Lord, I do seek."

Isaiah 64:8 - But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.

Dear God, thank You for being the potter constantly shaping and forming me into the person You want me to be. As I face some more turbulent times, teach me and continue to mold me. Thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Bring God the Sacrifice of Thanksgiving

Genesis 3:2-4 - And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, but God said, 'You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.'" But the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die."

Psalm 116:17 - I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the Lord.

I John 1:7 - But do we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with I one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

Dear God, thank You for the small things as well as the big things. Thank You for the tiny dewdrop on the rose petal. Thank You for the whisker on the cat or the spot on the dog. Thank You for salvation. Thank You for giving me another day and another opportunity to live with and for You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Let God Fill You

Isaiah 30:15 - For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, "In retuning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength." .....

II Corinthians 4:7 - But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.

Dear God, thank You for Your love and joy and peace. Thank You for filling me with Your presence. Thank You for using my weaknesses to show You power. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

God Meets Us

II Chronicles 16:9 - "For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. You have done foolishly in this, for from now on you will have wars."

Psalm 23:2-3 - He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Zechariah 2:13 - Be silent, all flesh, before the Lord, for he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.

Dear God, this world is so noisy. It is so noisy and so busy that sometimes I find it hard to commune with you. Please God I seek You even now. Thank You for meeting me halfway. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

In God You Have Everything

II Corinthians 4:17-18 - For this slight momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

Ephesians 3:20-21 - Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Dear God, this world would have me thinking that You don't care. But the truth is that You do. You will meet every need because You know what I need and You know how to fulfill the need. The things that are seen are temporary. So the GOP disaster that is looming because of their hatred is temporary per Your words. The things that are unseen are eternal. My home in heaven will be eternal. Thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

God Has Promised to Meet All Your Needs

II Corinthians 4:17-18 - For this slight momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

Philippians 4:19 - And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Dear God, it is hard to thank You for the trials You allow me to go through in life, but I want to do Your will and practice being more thankful for those trials so I can learn better how to trust that You are working in and through them and in my life and bringing me peace in the middle of suffering. Thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

God Wants Constant Communion with You

Proverbs 3:6 - In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

I Thessalonians 5:16-18 - Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Dear God, forgive me when I am tempted to let my schedule or to do list dictate my life as opposed to resting in Your presence and allowing You to take the reigns. Cluttered days are anxious days, but they don't have to be if I will just keep trust You. Thank You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
